Framsden Greyhound – A Community Pub

The Framsden Greyhound is a classic thatched English Country pub in a delightful village setting, housed in a grade 2 listed building in Suffolk. Today the villagers of Framsden own it, purchased by the village for the village, with the help of a Government grant from the Community Ownership Fund (COF) .'We collected the keys on March 28th 2024!!'

It has been a pub since the 1700s and is believed to have been created from workers cottages dating from the C16th, historically it was used as the site for auctions and coroners inquests.

It has also been the centre of village life for nearly 300 years and in the past has had an excellent reputation.
